Webinar: Wednesday 14 December, 1300–1400

Online, with free registration in advance

The latest report from the NCMD, Sudden and Unexpected Deaths in Infancy and Childhood, is due for publication on Thursday 8 December 2022. This report will use the unique data submitted by Child Death Overview Panels around England to investigate sudden and unexpected deaths both among infants and older children, and to draw out learning and recommendations for service providers and policymakers.

In this short session hosted by NCMD Programme Lead Professor Karen Luyt, Professor Peter Fleming will unpack the key findings of the report, before being joined by a panel of the report’s authors to answer questions about these novel findings.

The session is free and open to all with free registration in advance. We also issue continuing professional development certificates following attendance, upon request – contact Charlotte McClymont at UCL Partners for more details.

Please note that the session will be recorded and shared by NCMD to support future learning.
