Child Death Review data 2019/20 (LSCB1) and data quality

Tuesday 24 November 2020, 10:30-11.30am

Aimed at CDOP managers, administrators, designated doctors and other child death review professionals, this webinar is designed to support effective CDR and will feature:

A presentation by NCMD’s data analyst Tom Williams on NCMD’s latest report on Child Death Review (CDR) data, which replaces the LSCB1 statistical return and is out in November 2020. The report contains statistics on child death reviews undertaken and on the number of notifications received between 1 April 2019 and 31 March 2020. This webinar is an opportunity to gain further understanding of the report and how it can support CDOPs to compare their data to both national and regional figures, as well as to receive an update on data quality more generally (covering our quarterly Data Quality Monitoring reports for CDOPs).

Do you have a question for NCMD?

There will be a live Q&A session to address questions posed in advance of the webinar. If you would like to raise a question on the subject of the new report (sent to CDOPs in advance of the webinar), please submit it by email to NCMD by 20 November. We will then select a number to be raised on the day (please note that we will be unable to answer questions posed on the day, due to time constraints).

How to attend

Child death review professionals need to be invited to join NCMD’s webinars (you will need a valid NHS email address or similar identification). To receive details of how to take part in our webinars, please email NCMD.
