Supporting a Robust CDR Process

Aimed at CDOP managers, administrators, designated doctors and other child death review professionals, this webinar will feature two presentations:
1. NCMD Manager, Vicky Sleap: One of the ways in which we ensure that we respond to the developing landscape in which CDR professionals work is to provide regular updates to the NCMD and eCDOP systems which reflect changes to what is collected, enabling us to respond to potential emerging themes and also to improve the user experience. This presentation will look at the changes that were made to the systems from 1 April 2021, and will cover the changes that have been implemented.
2. Greenwich CDOP Chair and GP, Dr Nikesh Parekh, and Director of Maternity Action, Ros Bragg: An opportunity to hear from practitioners about the new questions on maternal charging, why they have been included, and the issues that the questions are trying to address. There will also be an opportunity for questions at the end of the session.
How to attend
Child death review professionals and others involved in CDR need to be invited to join NCMD’s FREE webinars (you will need a valid NHS email address or similar identification). Invitations were sent out in the first week of May; if you haven’t received an invitation by then and would like to take part, please email NCMD.
