The latest report from the NCMD, Infection related deaths of children and young people in England, was published in December 2023. This report uses the unique data submitted by Child Death Overview Panels around England to investigate infection related deaths of children and young people, and to draw out learning and recommendations for service providers and policymakers.
In this short session NCMD Lead Epidemiologist Dr David Odd will unpack the key findings of the report, before being joined by a panel of the report’s authors to answer questions about these novel findings.
