Leaping into action: How insights from CDR led to new water safety campaign

In this NCMD webinar, Nichola Baldwin from the Royal Life Saving Society UK (RLSS UK) will share how insights from the child death review process led to the creation of a new water safety campaign.

Using CDOP data, Nichola will give an update on the current picture of childhood drownings, share learning on parent behaviour from a recent survey and highlight how together, they led to the creation of the charity’s Splash Safety at your Pad campaign, running throughout May 2025.

The presentation will be followed by a question and answer session, and you can also submit questions in advance by emailing ncmd-programme@bristol.ac.uk
