Webinar: Monday 17 July, 1300–1400

Online, with free registration in advance

If you attended this event, you can find answers to the questions we did not have time to respond to here.

The latest report from the NCMD, Deaths of children and young people due to traumatic incidents, is due for publication on Thursday 13 July 2023. This report will use the unique data submitted by Child Death Overview Panels around England to investigate deaths of children and young people due to accidents and injuries including vehicle collisions, drowning and violence and maltreatment, and to draw out learning and recommendations for service providers and policymakers.

In this short session NCMD Director Professor Karen Luyt will unpack the key findings of the report, before being joined by a panel of the report’s authors to answer questions about these novel findings.

The session is free and open to all with free registration in advance. Places are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment. We also issue continuing professional development certificates following attendance, upon request – contact UCL Partners for more details.

Please note that the session will be recorded and shared by NCMD to support future learning.
