Katherine joined the National Child Mortality Database (NCMD) in March 2025 as Operations Manager, bringing with her over 25 years of experience leading professional services and project teams in the higher education and social care sectors.

In her role at NCMD, Katherine is responsible for the smooth and effective delivery of the programme’s operations. She leads on programme management, team development and performance, while also supporting governance, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning. Katherine is committed to fostering a positive and supportive working environment, and plays a key role in ensuring the programme’s goals are met.
