Dr Emma Blake
Dr Emma Blake is Chair of the Child Mental Health: College Specialty Advisory Committee (CSAC) of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH). She is the Outgoing Convenor of the Paediatric Mental Health Association (PMHA). She is a member of the NHSE Clinical Expert / Reference Groups for Children and Young People’s Mental Health and Learning Difficulties & All-Age Eating Disorders. Member of the Clinical Expert Group: Cass Review on Gender Dysphoria. Member of the working groups on Complex Presentations and Restrictive Practice. Member of the RCPCH Child Mental Health Education Group.
Previous national roles include Mental Health Representative on National Epilepsy Board. Mental Health and Neurodevelopmental Representatives on RCPCH General Paediatric CSAC. Her clinical interests centre on holistic care of children and adolescents, particularly the overlap between physical and mental health, neurodiversity and Safeguarding. She is the Mental Health Champion for her Trust and Chairs the local NHS Youth Forum.
