April Keogh is the Parent, Patient and Public Involvement (PPPI) Manager at the National Child Mortality Database (NCMD), having joined the programme in February 2025.  She plays a key role in developing the Parent, Patient, and Public Involvement (PPPI) strand of NCMD’s work, collaborating closely with bereaved families to ensure their voices shape and inform every aspect of the programme.

With a background in media as a documentary producer, April brings extensive experience in handling sensitive subjects with professionalism, empathy, and care.
